Booklist magazine delivers over 8,000 recommended-only reviews of books, audiobooks, reference sources, video, and DVD titles each year.
Carol Hurst's Children's Literature Reviews
Good source for children's book reviews arranged by title, author, or grade level. Also offers lesson ideas for curriculum areas or particular themes (e.g. Native Americans). Provides a newsletter and links to related resources for teachers.
Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books
A review journal that began in 1945 is devoted entirely to reviews of children's literature.
Horn Book
Well respected review source of children's and young adult literature since 1924.
Kirkus
Previews and reviews over 5000 books per year.
School Library Journal
More reviews of children's and young adult literature than other journals.
