The organization's site offers poetry exhibits, discussion forums, and an index of poets with biographical information, photos, and poetry selections. There are audio clips for more than 100 poets.

This site is an ongoing project of the Humanities Text Initiative and University of Michigan to assemble an electronic archive of volumes of American poetry. The archive consists mostly of 19th century poetry with a few 18th century and early 20th century texts. Major poets such as Poe, Dickinson, Sandburg, & Longfellow are covered as well as a number of African American and women poets.

Created in 1999 by UK poet laureate Andrew Motion, this site offers recordings by hundreds of poets reading their work. It includes educational resources for teachers and students, a separate archive of children's poetry, and the ability to browse for poems by theme or poetic form.
