Mendeley: Build Your Research Library: Get Started

This guide will help you use the online citation, research management, and collaboration tool Mendeley.

What Is Mendeley?

Mendeley is a reference/citation manager with web-based, desktop, and mobile versions. You can sync your citation library between these different versions and across different devices.

On/about February 1, 2017, the Library began its subscription to the Mendeley Institutional Edition (MIE).  Any Webster University user who creates or has already created a free Mendeley account using your Webster email address should be automatically enrolled in the MIE, which provides:

  • Up to 5 GB of personal library space
  • Option to created an unlimited number of groups with upto 25 members each
  • More tools for maximum resource sharing!
