Anthropology and Sociology Program
At Webster, courses in anthropology and sociology help students appreciate the socio-cultural and structural dimensions of human behavior and beliefs. These courses focus on understanding social change, inequality at local and global scales, and cultural identities and experiences. Students in this program undertake field research with faculty, internships with nonprofit and activist community partners, and conduct independent research projects, building important skills for career success.

Global Cultures Club
The Global Cultures Club facilitates intercultural dialogue on and off campus so students can experience and develop a sense of global community. The Club is a wonderful way to get to know your peers, find a mentor, be a mentor, make connections with our faculty and staff, and participate in awesome activities.

Anthropology and Sociology librarian

Every program has a Subject Librarian assigned to support students and faculty in their work. We host classes at the Library, or we can work with an instructor to come to your classroom, whether online or in-person. Students can make an appointment to receive one-on-one guidance or simply ask a question. Messages are typically answered within 24 hours. We love to help!
