Interlibrary Loan is the library service through which current students, faculty, and staff from either Webster University or Eden Theological Seminary may request research materials which are not available from either the Webster-Eden Library system or another MOBIUS library. You think of a library and chances are you picture books. We have lots of books, and even some picture books too :) This page will help you find a book and if you have any questions, help is close at hand.

We have a lot of electronic books because the library supports students all over the world. Ebooks are just like regular books, only instead of having the paper in your hand, you have the PDF or scan of the book on your computer screen.

• When you find an eBook in the catalog, you click on a link that says "Webster-Eden: Click here to access this online book" and you'll then log-in with your ID number.
• After you log-in, you will get information about the book and a table of contents. You can start reading by clicking on eBook full text.
• Once you're inside the book, you can search for certain words inside the text of the book.

You can search by keyword for an eBook in the Library Catalog.

As a Webster student, you get access to MOBIUS. It's a network of Missouri university libraries that all borrow and lend books. That means that in an average of 3 days, you can have a book from almost any university library in Missouri! And it's all free to you.

• Visit the MOBIUS catalog and search for what you need
• If it's available, you can request it and it will be here in about 3 days. If it's checked out, you will get it after the person who has it now returns it.
• Request the book by clicking Request and then pick your "cluster" which is Bridges. You can find this out by clicking Find Your Cluster.
• After that, put in your name and ID number followed by EWL (that's our institution code). Choose Webster University - Emerson Library from the dropdown menu to pick it up at the library, or Webster University - US Sites if you're at an extended campus.
• We'll email you when the book arrives in the library and you can pick it up.

We have rare books! Even though you can’t check them out they’re still majorly cool. The rare books are located behind glass near the Curriculum Collection on Level 2. These books are collections we have collections of books that are either so old or so rare, they cannot be checked out. If you need help reviewing a rare book, ask a Research Librarian.
